Brew To Share
Robert Sherrill is beer professional with a wide-ranging experience set. He has brewed professionally throughout NYC, was the Beverage Program Manager at Covenhoven in Brooklyn. Robert is an award-winning homebrewer, a Certified BJCP Judge, and a Certified Beer Server in the Cicerone Program with a passion for beer education. Together with Bitter and Esters, he produced the annual beer festival the NYC Brewers Pro-Am. He has also partnered on many beer events with noted beer journalist, and friend, Joshua M. Bernstein. Prior to working in beer, Robert spent more than a decade in live theatrical production as a Producer and General Manager.
Robert is a proud member and co-founder of NYC’s largest homebrew club the Brewminaries, having served as Events Co-Chair and as Treasurer in its first years. He proudly wears their logo as a tattoo on his right arm. Robert has also been a member of Pour Standards - Richmond County Brew Society, the NYC Homebrewers Guild, and was heavily involved in Brewnity, the informal group of charity fundraisers.
He recently moved to LA with his husband Christopher and the best dog ever, Templeton.
